Tiruchanur also known as Alamelu Mangapuram is a town in Chittoor district of of Andhra Pradesh. It is famous for the temple dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi or Alamelumanga, the consort of Lord Venkateswara.The Temple is being administered by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.
A garden covering 4.0 hectres is dedicated to Devi Padmavathi. The garden has many varieties of Jasmine and other fragrant plants. The flowers from this garden are used exclusively for decorating the goddess and in other pujas.
