Rishi Pahar

Rishi Pahar is a Himalyan mountain peak, located in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand state in India. In Hindi, the term Rishi Pahar means ‘The Peaks of Saint’ and is considered sacred by the Hindus.

The hills are situated at the northeast side of the ring of peaks enclosing the Nanda Devi Sanctuary and the eastern edge of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve in the south of Trishuli and Hardeol. The Milam Glacier lies on the eastern side of Rishi Pahar. It marks the triple divide between the Milam, Dunagiri, and Uttari Rishi Ganga valleys.
